Today, Wednesday, 9/4/2025, at the Radisson Hotel in Erbil, with the presence of Safeen Dizayee, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Sarwar Kamal Hawari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ambassador of India to Iraq, Kamaran Salah Bajgar and Maroof Aziz Khan Harki, Deputy Chairmen of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Salar Salah Khoshnaw, member of the Chamber's Administrative Council, Mohit Singla, Chairman of the India Trade Promotion Council, the Chairman of Halabja Chamber of Commerce, members of Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce, and a number of Kurdistan Regional Government officials and Indian businessmen, the signing ceremony for the establishment of the India-Kurdistan Business Council was held.
During this ceremony, several speeches were delivered by the attendees regarding the issue of strengthening trade relations between India and the Kurdistan Region, with emphasis placed on further consolidating these relations.
