Today, Monday, 7/4/2025, Kamaran Salah Bajgar and Maruf Azizxan Harki, Deputy Chairmen of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with members of the Chamber's administrative council and a number of local solar sector companies, welcomed a delegation from the Belgian company SOLTECH, which specializes in solar panel production and investment in this field, headed by Ayşe Senerli Oglu, President of the company.
During the meeting, Kamaran Salah Bajgar, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber, delivered a welcome speech, expressing hope that this visit would be productive and lead to strong relationships, and thanked the Kurdistan Regional Presidency for facilitating this delegation's visit.
The Deputy Chairman stated, "The exchange of information and joint work will have a very positive impact on the revitalization and development of the clean energy sector in the Kurdistan Region, where utilizing clean energy production methods has become mandatory due to climate change."
Kamaran Salah Bajgar added, "As the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we encourage local companies to work with the visiting company and benefit from their experience and products."
During this meeting, Ayşe Senerli Oglu, President of SOLTECH, expressed her pleasure with this visit and thanked the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the warm welcome and organizing this meeting, saying, "We have made an agreement with Iraq to rely on solar energy in the future, and this meeting serves as a beginning for establishing relationships with Kurdish companies."
She added, "Our products are very advanced and manufactured with high quality. We can use them on building rooftops so that buildings can utilize 30% solar energy."
Following this, the SOLTECH delegation presented a presentation about their activities, operations, building coverage methods, solar panel production, and capabilities to attendees.
Subsequently, B2B meetings were held between local merchants, company owners, and the visiting company.
