In Coordination with Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ILO Launches a Structured Training Program

Today, Sunday, 2/2/2025, Kamaran Salah Bajger and Maruf Azizxan Harki, Deputy Presidents of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with Haji Ismail Surchi, Lawand Mamundi, and Salar Salah Khoshnaw, members of the Chamber's Administrative Council, and Abdulwahid Taha, Director of Research and Organizations Affairs Department at the Chamber, received a delegation from the International Labour Organization (ILO), headed by Amal Bani Awad, Project Manager of the organization in Iraq.
After welcoming the guests, the visiting delegation generally highlighted a training course aimed at creating job opportunities for youth and recent graduates in the private sector, through the "Learning at Workplace" project, coordinated between the International Labour Organization, GIZ, Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
For his part, Kamaran Salah Bajger, Deputy President of the Chamber, expressed his satisfaction with the implementation of this project and showed the readiness and support of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry for all coordination efforts. During this meeting, the Chamber attendees also discussed the courses and training programs that the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry has conducted in coordination with international organizations in the past.
