President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry Visits the President of Iraqi Industrialists Union
As part of his visit to Baghdad and participation in the meeting of the Iraqi Chambers of Commerce Union, today Monday, 27/1/2025, Gailan Haji Saeed, President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, accompanied by Tahir Izzeddin, President of Halabja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Azad Ahmed, Director of Relations at the Kurdistan Region Chambers of Commerce and Industry Union, visited the Iraqi Industrialists Union where they were warmly welcomed by Adel Akkab, the Union's President.
At the beginning of the meeting, Gailan Haji Saeed, the Chamber President, congratulated Adel Akkab, President of the Iraqi Industrialists Union, on his re-election as the Union's President, wishing him success.
Discussions then took place regarding ongoing efforts to resolve the problems and difficulties facing factories and manufacturing plants in the Kurdistan Region, as well as the issue of Kurdistan Region industrialists benefiting from central government rights and privileges similar to central and southern Iraqi cities.
